Ann-Marie Fisher, Executive Director,

Ann Marie Fisher and her family have for a long time been active members of the community. In 2002 they realized they had finally found their home here at The BirminghamTemple and became members. It wasn’t long before she started teaching Sunday school, which in turn led to her position as the Executive Director. When she isn’t running around trying to organize things at the Temple she can be found at her home in West Bloomfield taking care of her children and many pets. From dogs to bearded dragons, she loves them all.

Susan Warrow, School Principal / Spinoza Program,

Susan has been connected with the Secular Humanistic Jewish community for 15 years. Professionally she has taught high school English and Social Studies since 1998, including Composition and Holocaust Literature courses. Susan has a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Teaching, and a Bachelors Degree in History, both from Michigan State University. She teaches in our Spinoza Program and is studying at the IISHJ to become a madrikha (Leader/ Ceremonialist). Susan's commitment to Humanistic Judaism also includes serving as co-editor of the journal of the Society for Humanistic Judaism.
