Friday, March 14   Dinner:  GourmetGarden (SE of Middlebelt & 12 Mile Rd.)
Service: “Revising the Past: The Ongoing Impact of Archaeological Discovery from Ancient Israel” will be led by Rabbi Kolton, Rabbi Adam Chalom, and guest speaker, U of M Professor Brian Schmidt.  This service is the start of a very interesting weekend seminar.  Contact Linda Glass at the IISHJ to register for the weekend. No charge for the Shabbat service.

Friday, March 28   Dinner:  Ginopolis’ (NW of Middlebelt & 12 Mile Rd.)
Service: “Antarctica: What’s A Nice Jewish Girl Doing In A Place Like That? Part Two” Guest Speaker:  Robin Frisch-Gleason is the daughter of Temple members, Manny and Debbie Frisch.  Sure to be a very exciting presentation.

Friday, April 4                    Dinner:  Champps Americana (NW of Orchard Lake & 14 Mile Rd.)
Service will be led by Natan Fuchs, a Temple member and rabbinic student.  The topic “Fighting for Freedom” will be presented in a very uplifting and positive way that is unique to Natan and his love for our Jewish Freedom Fighters.

Friday, April 11                  Dinner:  Buddy’s (NE of Middlebelt & Northwestern Hwy)
Service will be a lively “Rock the House Shabbat” that will include a very timely sermon given by Rabbi Kolton on intermarriage and “The Future of Judaism.”

Friday, April 18                  Dinner:  Antonio’s (NW of Halstead & 12 Mile Rd.)
Service:  The Birmingham Temple welcomes Doug Ross, Superintendent of the University Preparation Academy in Detroit, a very well recognized and expanding charter school.  Doug has been a State Senator, a Gubernatorial candidate, and an official in the Bill Clinton administration.

Friday, April 25                  Dinner:  PI (SW of Northwestern Hwy & 12 Mile Rd.)
Service will be conducted by Guest Rabbi Eva Goldfinger of Oraynu Congregation for Humanistic Judaism in Toronto, Ontario.  Please join us for dinner and help welcome Rabbi Goldfinger to the Birmingham Temple.
